Instead of giving a Christmas gift - Susan was considering her grandchildren’s interests and then planning adventures they would enjoy. We also liked her add on ideas:
Give in a creative way - something that gives a hint about the adventure
Allow them to plan part of the excursion
Coupon for a stuffed animal for the zoo, or breakfast after the Balloon ride etc.
Give the children disposable cameras to document the adventure - having those pictures developed could be an adventure in itself!!
